| 1) Open the enclosure and you will see an adapter for it to communicate with your optical drive.
2). Connect the adapter to the back of your optical drive. Make sure you order the right enclosure, we sell both SATA and IDE.
3). Place the optical drive into the bottom end of the enclosure.
4). Snap the top end of the enclosure to the bottom. Two screws are available for you to tighten the drive to the adapter.
5.) Connect the USB cable to your computer. There are two USB cables, you need to connect both if you're burning a software. Reading the drive just requires one USB cable to be connected.
6.) Your computer will automatically recognized the drive, I didn't even install the driver that comes with it. In this scenario; I am using Windows XP, you will need to install the driver if you're using Windows 98. Supports: Windows 98SE/ME/NT4.0/2000/XP/2003/Vista/Windows
